Detailed instructions for assembly and use of the hammock

Please read the following instructions carefully before installing the baby hammock.

Make sure that you are properly prepared for it, have the technical expertise and the right equipment. Make sure that the place you have chosen for the installation of your hammock is solid and safe. Make sure the location is not near fire sources, edges and corners of furniture, walls or other hazards.

Remember, if you don't feel up to it, don't mount your hammock yourself by drilling holes in the ceiling or walls, railings, tree trunks, poles. It is better to use the services of a professional. Faulty hammock installation can cause dangerous accidents.

Installing a hammock

  1. For mounting the hammock, use only the original components included in the package. We cannot be held responsible for the use of other components, assembly, or use of the hammock not in accordance with this manual.

  2. The hammock can only be mounted in a concrete ceiling or wooden beam.

  3. Mounting in wood:

    1. Make sure that the beam does not decay. The minimum required dimension of the beam is 10x10 cm. Using a 7 mm wood drill, drill a hole 80 mm deep. Make sure that no dust remains in the hole. Screw the eye hook in all the way, but do not use too much force. Make sure that the eye hook does not move.

  4. Mounting in concrete:

    1. Using a 14 mm concrete drill, drill a hole to a depth of 80 mm. Make sure that no dust remains in the hole. Insert the dowel all the way in and then screw in the eye hook. Make sure that the eye hook does not move.

  5. Fold the rope in half and pass it through the ceiling hook hole to form a loop. Thread both ends of the rope through the loop and tighten. You will adjust the hover height of the hammock by the point where the rope is folded.

  6. Tie one end of the rope into the loop. Make sure the knot does not move. Hook a smaller carabiner into this loop, in which you then place a spring eye. Into the second spring eyelet hook the larger carabiner with the narrow side up.

  7. Underneath the hammock there is a hidden zipper. Undo the zipper, place the mattress in the base of the hammock and slide the zipper closed.

  8. Gather up the middle of the hammock fabric in your hand and place it in the wider end of the larger carabiner (we marked the middle of the hammock with decorative stitching for clarity)

  9. Fit a wooden bar between the sides of the hammock and carefully tie the strings at the ends of the bar and wrap around the fabric to stop it from slipping out. Align the board so that it is horizontal.

  10. Stretch the spring to its full length and make sure the bottom of the hammock is at least 20 cm above the ground. If it is too low, adjust the length of the rope.

  11. Your hammock is ready to be used! After you have placed your baby in it, remember to fasten the foot protection side with snaps. When not using this side, you can put it on the bottom of the hammock where there are hidden magnets to hold it in place.

Using the hammock

  1. Always check that the mounting components are securely fastened and not damaged before use. Check the mounting rope, which is subject to wearing out due to intensive use. Replace it when you see the first signs of wear.

  2. Always supervise a child in a hammock.

  3. Always lay the child on its back, stop using the hammock when the child starts to roll over.

  4. The hammock is designed for children aged 0-6 months, up to 15 kg.

  5. Only one child may be placed in the hammock.

Czyszczenie

  1. The hammock (without mattress) made of 100% cotton can be machine washed at 40°C, ironed at max. 200°C, not dry cleaned, not bleached. Fading of unbleached cotton fabric from which the hammock is made is a natural phenomenon.

  2. The mattress made of merino wool and cotton should be washed by hand in a liquid wool detergent. If washing is not necessary, simply air the mattress, as wool regenerates when exposed to oxygen and bacteria do not multiply in it.
